PAIR OF MAGNIFICENT FRENCH CHAMPLEVE TALL CANDLESTICKS. These candlesticks, on alabaster bases have small brass feet, applied elaborate ornamental brass or bronze stems inlaid with lovely and intricate enamel work. Apparently these were originally made with a tube opening going up the entire shaft and through the candle bobeches, thus these can be used as candlesticks or can be wired and used as small lamps. SIZE: 11” h. CONDITION: A couple of minor imperfections on the alabaster base, otherwise generally very good with nice old patina. 9-99781 (375-575)
