The slight hill leading to a pond with distant pasture with sheep. A river valley is seen beyond with steeple and rooftop under trees against a light blue sky. Signed lower left “J M Lewin 186_”. Housed in a what appears to be its original frame which has been gold painted. SIZE: 11-1/4″ x 25″. CONDITION: Relined, craquelure, some lifting to center sky but appears to be stable. 9-95801 (1,000-2,000)
