*CASED WINCHESTER FINE TRAP GRADE MODEL 21 CUSTOM GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 29905. Fine Model 21 with 30″ vent rib bbls choked FULL/MOD with dbl ivory beads, ejectors & blued sgl selective trigger. Frame has “21-4” style engraved patterns consisting of two ducks on left side, two quail on right side & two birddogs on floorplate surrounded by light foliate arabesque patterns. Mounted with replacement, highly figured, flame grain American walnut with “21-B” style carved & checkered black insert beavertail forearm & pistol grip stock, 13-3/4″ over a Winchester solid red pad. Accompanied by a mustard color, vinyl covered, fleece-lined Winchester case. Also accompanied by a Cody Firearms Museum letter fully identifying this shotgun as a trap grade with “Trap finish” completed on Oct. 4, 1954. Drop at heel: 2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Bore restrictions: left – .035, right – .013. Wall thickness: left – .037, right – .022. Bore diameter: left – .697, right – .719. Weight: 8 lbs. 2.56 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Metal retains most of an excellent professionally restored finish & wood virtually all of its fine custom finish. Wood appears to be orig by Winchester but is not serial numbered.
