*FASCINATING PERAZZI MX3 SCO THREE GAUGE SMALL BORE SET. SN 62019. Cal. 20, 28 & 410 cal. 20 ga is 25-3/4″ bbls, with matted vent rib, sgl gold sighting bead and Perazzi screw chokes, 2-3/4″ chambers and ejectors. 28 & 410 are 27-1/2″ bbl with mat vent rib, Bradley white front and silver center sighting beads, SKEET chokes, 2-3/4″ chambers, ejectors and sgl trigger. 20 ga bbl is marked on left side of rib “PERAZZI SPA-MADE IN BRESCIA-ITALY”. 28 & 410 bbls are marked on left side “PERAZZI SPA-MADE IN BRESCIA-ITALY/GAUGE & 2-3/4″ CHAMBERS”,right side is marked “IMPORTER-PERAZZI-USA/ROME-NEW YORK”. The MX3 receiver is beautifully engraved with arabesque scroll and scene on left side of rooster pheasant in flight with trees in background, pointer carrying rooster pheasant in mouth on bottom and pointer on staunch point on right side. Forend cut is gold inlaid “MX3-SCO”. Right side along removable trigger is marked “GABELLI”. Mounted with nicely figured walnut with dark streaks, checkered straight grip, leather covered recoil pad, checkered slender forend with schnabel tip. 20 ga) Bore diameter: top -.625, bottom -.625. Bore restrictions: top -SC, bottom -SC. Wall thickness: top -.047, bottom -.043. Drop at heel: 2-15/16″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 7lbs. 6oz. LOP 14-15/16″. Bore measurements are not available for 28 & 410, drops are same as with 20 ga, weight of 410 is 7lbs. 9oz. and 28 ga, 7lbs. 7oz. Guns are housed in a Nasco All American aluminum case, including stock tool, and two extra chokes for 20 ga., the 4 chokes are marked “2”, “4”, “6” and “8”. CONDITION: Extremely fine. All bbls retain virtually all of their orig blue finish with a couple minor handling marks, and 20 gauge with rub mark from forend. Receiver is clear and bright, wood is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks, and retains nearly all of its orig finish with a minor scuff in grip area behind lower tang and a slight bit of hand worn patina. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks and retains virtually all of its orig finish. Mechanics are crisp with a an inertia trigger non-auto safety, strong ejectors and bright shiny bores in all bbls.
