TIFFANY FURNACES ART DECO DESK LAMP. Beautiful bronze and favrile glass lamp begins with a nicely decorated shade having a damascene wave pattern with a platinum iridescent finish, all on a gold ground. This shade is very deep and has vertical ribbing. In the vertical ribbing, the shade has alternating coloration of light and dark to give a greater depth when unlit or properly illuminated. The shade is finished with a cased liner. This shade is supported by a bronze base having a brown patina finish accented by orange, yellow, blue and purple enameling in the art deco pattern. Lamp is finished with a turn switch and finial. Shade is unsigned. Base is signed “Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces Inc. 369″ as well as the Glass & Decorating logo. SIZE: Shade is 6-3/4″ dia x 2-1/4″ fitter x 4-1/2″ deep. Lamp is 14-1/2” t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor chips at fitter rim of shade. Base has a small split on lower edge of harp. 5-62945 (10,000-15,000)
