NEW ENGLAND BIRDSEYE MAPLE CHEST OF DRAWERS. First half of the 19th Century> Probably New York. This country example with rectangular top above a conforming case with paneled ends fitted with four long drawers and birdseye maple fronts above a scalloped shaped apron. SIZE: 33-3/4″ x 41-1/2″ w x 19-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Chest has been stripped and restored sometime in the last 50 years and has regained some patina. Structurally very good with nice figuring. 9-95142 (400-600)
