ANTOINE-LOUIS BARYE (French, 1795-1875) PAIR OF BRONZE LION AND TIGER BOOKENDS. Lion and tiger bronzes mounted on rosewood bases which serve as bookends. Tigre Marchant, the other is Lion Marchant. “F. Barbedienne Fondour France” inscribed on base and signed “Bayre” on base on both. A very nice set of bronze bookends.
