19” SFBJ 227 CHARACTER BOY. Molded and painted hair boy with open mouth and teeth, blue jeweled eyes on a fully jointed French composition body (hands repainted). He is wearing his original sailor outfit (shoes replaced). Bisque is even and not high-colored and marked “227” on back of head. CONDITION: Doll has hairline to left side coming out of neck socket and extending 3” up to outside corner of eye. Old repair evident but not visible when doll is on display. 1-774 JL272 (350-450)
