*WINCHESTER MODEL 23 PIGEON GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN PWK202150. Modern boxlock dbl with 26” bbls tapered vent rib with dbl ivory beads, choked MOD/IMP CYL. It has single selective trigger & ejectors. The receiver is coin finished with about 70% coverage foliate arabesque pattern engraving and a pigeon on the floorplate. It has straight grain wood with checkered beavertail forearm and round knob pistol grip stock, 14-1/2” over an original red solid rubber pad. It is accompanied by its original 2-pc blue & white box containing the inside cardboard compartments & papers. Weight 7 lbs. 00 oz. Drop at the heel 2-3/8”, at the comb 1-1/2”. CONDITION: Extremely fine, possibly unfired. Retaining virtually all of its bright factory finish to both metal & wood. Brilliant shiny bores. 4-51316 JR905 (1,500-2,500)
