*STRIKING PERAZZI MX8 SCO THREE GAUGE SET WITH CASE. SN 74724. Cal. 12, 16 & 20 ga. 29-1/2″ bbls, matted tapered vent ribs, with white Bradley front and silver center sighting beads, vented mid ribs, 12 & 20 ga with screw chokes, SKEET/CYL on 16 ga, ejectors and sgl trigger. Left side flat of 16 ga bbl is marked “PERAZZI BRESCIA MADE IN ITALY”, with decorative border scroll, the 12 & 20 bbls are marked on left side of top bbl “PERAZZI BRESCIA MADE IN ITALY” over ga. & chamber length, and right side “IMPORTER-PERAZZI-USA/MONROVIA-CALIFORNIA”. Bottom flat of bbls are dual SN, one set matching all bbls to receiver and second SN to time of manufacturing. 12 ga is bbl dated “BD” for 1994, 20 ga “BB” for 1992, and 16 ga. “BS” 2002. 12 ga bbl is ported with two rows of parallel ports on each side of each bbl. Consignor states that bbl work was carried out by Tom Seitz, and fit to gun by Perazzi importer “Giacomo”. Lower left side of each bbl is stamped “18.4” Lower left side of 16 ga is stamped “16.0” and 20 ga is “15.9”. The MX8 receiver is fully engraved, with a bold floral scroll surrounded by tight arabesque scroll with shaded background. Left side game scene is 4 grouse in flight, bottom is a portrait of pointer with woodcock in mouth, and “SCO” in gold in forend cut, right side is 3 ducks in flight in a marsh scene, top tang is fully engraved with floral bouquet and tight scroll with gold “S” and gold “BLOCCATO”, and lower rear corner of left side is signed “CALENTI”. Mounted with marble figured walnut, checkered pistol grip, black decelerator pad, fully checkered slender forend, with scroll engraved metal. 12 ga) Bore diameter: top -.723, bottom -.723. Weight: 7lbs. 15oz. LOP 15-5/16″. Housed in a gray Perazzi marked case with 6 choke tubes and wrench for 12 ga and, 5 tubes for 20 ga and wrench. CONDITION: Extremely fine. All sets of bbl retain nearly all of their orig blue. 12 ga with some minor thinning around ports, and rub on bottom from forend and a few minor handling marks. The 20 & 16 ga bbls retain nearly all of their orig blue with just a few minor handling marks. Receiver is bright and clean, trigger assembly retains virtually all of its orig blue, stock is sound with a minor scratch on right side, raised panel, sharp checkering a few minor handling marks and retains virtually all of its orig finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a couple minor nicks & retains virtually all of its orig finish. Mechanics are crisp with non-auto safety, strong ejectors and bright shiny bores in all sets of bbls.
