*RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 21 DBL BBL SHOTGUN 2-BBL SET. Cal. 20 & 28 ga. SN 20068. Field grade 21 with two sets of 28″ bbls, 20 ga. choked FULL/MOD & 28 ga. choked MOD/IMP-CYL. Both have tapered concave matted ribs with sgl bead, ejectors & a blued Winchester sgl selective trigger. Mounted with very highly figured, feather crotch cut, American walnut with beavertail forearm, checkered in kidney pattern with pistol grip stock with deluxe checkered side panels, 14″ over a Winchester embossed hard rubber buttplate. Accompanied by an unmarked Winchester 2-pc cardboard box with inside cardboard sleeves & wax paper. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. 28 ga.: Bore restrictions: left – .019, right – .006. Wall thickness: left – .019, right – .024. Bore diameter: left – .602, right – .611. 28 ga.: Bore restrictions: left – .021, right – .011. Unable to gage wall thickness. Bore diameter: left – .542, right – .547. Weight with 20 ga. bbls: 6 lbs. 13.12 oz. Only a few of these 2-bbl sets were ever made & to find one is a great rarity. CONDITION: As new. Has been assembled with a few scrapes on standing breech, otherwise appears unfired & retains virtually all of its fine factory finish to both metal & wood and may be a factory restoration.
