*PAIR OF PERAZZI SCO /C GAME GUNS WITH CASE. SN 117877 / 117878. Cal. 20 ga. 3″ Chambers. 28-1/4″ Mono-block barrels with invisible Teague chokes, have flat checkered ventilated ribs (“1” and “2” inlaid at breech ends) and are stamped “Perazzi BRESCIA MADE IN ITALY” on left ejector bosses. Bbls are stamped with Italian proofs for 3″ chambers. Importers mark “BSA NY”, SN, grade, and other proofs are on bottom mono-block. Two-toned coin finished actions with removable trigger and lock assemblies have non-automatic safeties (S is inlaid in gold), and non-selective single triggers. Top levers have pierced thumbpieces, and “1” and “2” are inlaid in gold on each, respectively. Bulk of actions is a French gray, while trigger guard assemblies, safety buttons, top levers, and forend metal have a brighter silver finish. Actions have bulino scenes of dogs and game; right side depicting a pair of pointers flushing woodcock; left side a pair of pointers flushing quail; bottom a pointer with quail in mouth. Background consists of shaded scroll with semi-relief floral accents. Engravers signature “Badillini” is on actions at right sides of trigger groups. Round knob semi-pistol grip buttstocks with 22 LPI point pattern checkering measure 14-3/8″ over black leather covered pads, and have gold ovals with initials “GEN” at toe. Wood of gun no. “1” is nicely marbled with considerable figure, whereas the wood of gun no. “2” is dark with fine marbling, but little or no figure. Well matching forends have Deeley releases, and each is inlaid with large engraved oval, with relief gold and silver portrait of springer spaniel, with “Clint” above, and “Loyal Friend” below. Stocks retain virtually all of their original oil finish but with numerous rubs and marks on the right sides of butts from carrying in the field. Actions are tight. Bbls are on face.
