15″ STEIFF “CENTER SEAM” TEDDY BEAR. Perhaps this fellow’s attitude can best be described as dignified and proper, and yet affable. Always highly desirable, this early “center seam” bear with hump on his back and shoe-button eyes has faded with age from an apricot to a honey color. Fresh to the market, he shows typical signs of his age such as minor sporadic fur loss, settling of excelsior stuffing in places and slight thread loss to nose. No apparent dryrot; unfortunately he no longer retains his ear button but he still retains his charm. SIZE: 15″ h. CONDITION: Overall very good plus, some restitching to felt pad on left foot. 1-8911 JL (2,000-3,000)
