*SCARCE WINCHESTER PRE-64 M70 TARGET BOLT-ACTION RIFLE. SN 424099. Cal. 30-06. 24″ target weight bbl w/Lyman globe front sight, 2″ scope block, usual bbl markings and proof mark on left side at chamber. Standard M70 action w/target block on front receiver ring, stripper clip cut and Lyman 48 receiver sight. Proof mark on left side adjacent to bbl mark and usual Winchester/trademark on left side, steel floor plate and trigger guard. Mounted w/select grade walnut, standard M70 target stock w/sling swivels and steel checkered competition butt plate. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl retains 97-98% orig blue w/some minor muzzle wear and a few minor handling marks. Receiver and floor plate retain virtually all of their orig blue, bolt handle shows some slight rub wear. Stock is sound w/some minor nicks and scrapes and typical storage marks, w/orig finish blended w/a hand-worn patina at handling points.
