AMERICAN BRONZE “NATIONAL” CASH REGISTER. Late 19th-early 20th century. SN 1267416 above the number 452. The bronze register cast with filigreed designs, stepped on a quartersawn oak base fitted with a white marble work surface and a spring-loaded cash drawer, having a cast-brass nameplate “National” in script. The right side with crank, the left side with receipt roll compartment and dispenser. SIZE: 22″ h. x 25″ w. x 16-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: Missing top nameplate, wear to keys, crack in marble. Otherwise in good condition. 9-93492 (1,500-2,000)
