JAPANESE CARVED IVORY HANDLED CANE WITH FROG. Small frog is seen peeking out of lotus leaves. Back side having a signature in an oval mother of pearl inset cartouche. Shaft is ebony and no ferrule present. Circa 1890. Carving is similar to the quality seen on Japanese Netsuke’s. SIZE: Handle is 2-1/4”. 37-1/4” l overall. CONDITION: Very good. 9-28216 (1800-2400)
