HOME MADE DOLLS’ HOUSE. Circa 1900. This dolls’ house is painted white with black trim and opens from the front to reveal four large rooms. It opens like a cupboard and has a hook at the top to keep it closed. There are windows on the front and sides. The roof is painted a light green. The interior has two rooms on the first floor that are stained in mahogany. The kitchen has old linoleum tacked down while the other room has just its stained floor. It also has a built in sink on the back wall with shelves above. Both of these rooms have the walls stained in mahogany. The top floor has two rooms painted; one in yellow, the other in blue. SIZE: 38″ t x 30″ w x 15-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Exterior white paint looks original, second floor rooms are repainted, as is the roof. 1-8621 (300-500)
