*BROWNING JAGER CUSTOM SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN TWO BARREL SET WITH CASE. SN 32660. Cal. 12 ga. 26-1/2″ and 30″ bbls. Set 1 – 26-1/2″ matted vented rib, red Bradley front and white center sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers, IMP Cyl/MOD chokes. Set 2 – 30″ matted vent rib, red Bradley front and silver center sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers, IMP MOD/Full chokes. All with sgl selective trigger and ejector. Left side of bbls are marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY – ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI/SPECIAL STEEL – 12 GA. – SHELLS 2-3/4″.” Right side “PATENTS NO 2.203.378 – 2.233.861/MADE IN BELGIUM”. Chamber area on both bbl sets have 2-1/2″ wedge of bold scroll engraving and sgl line at muzzles. Bbls are stamped “1” and “2” on lower bbl beneath SN. Receiver is custom engraved with left side with a forested scene with two pheasants in flight and setter on point. Right side is three ducks landing in a marsh, balance is a bold foliate and leafy scroll with shaded background. Lower left side is signed “K. JAGER, MAINZ.” Appended forend metal is engraved in matching bold foliate and leafy scroll. Bow of trigger guard is engraved with the intertwined initials “FSR”. Mounted with nicely figured fiddleback walnut, Midas style checkered pistol grip with flat knob, Browning marked vented target recoil pad and fluted checkered beavertail target forends. Set 1 – Bore diameter: top – .724, bottom – .724. Bore restrictions: top – .020, bottom – .008. Wall thickness: top – .046, bottom – .046. Drop at heel: 1-3/4″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs. 10 oz. LOP 13-3/4″. Set 2 – Bore diameter: top – .726, bottom – .724. Bore restrictions: top – .035, bottom – .030. Wall thickness: top – .047, bottom – .052. Drop at heel: 1-3/4″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 8 lbs. 4 oz. LOP 13-3/4″. Accompanied by tan Browning luggage case with white fuzzy interior. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Both bbl sets retain virtually all fine custom blued finish with just a faint rub line from forend. The gray custom engraved receiver is clean, crisp and bright. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, only a few minor handling marks and fine factory style finish. Forends are sound with sharp checkering and only a few minor handling marks. Forend of 30″ bbl has a repaired chip on rear left side repaired prior to finish. Entire gun appears as new. Mechanics are crisp with non-automatic safety, strong ejectors and bright shiny bores in both sets of bbls.
