*DESIRABLE BROWNING FIELD GRADE OVER AND UNDER SHOTGUN TWO BARREL SET WITH CASE. SN 4932V74. Cal. 20 ga. 26-1/2″ bbls, both with matted vent ribs, sgl sighting beads, 3″ chambers, ejectors and sgl selective trigger. Set 1) MOD/FULL choke, 2) IMP/CYL/MOD choke. Left side on top bbls on both sets marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q./ MADE IN BELGIUM”, right side of bbl “BROWNING SUPERPOSED/SPECIAL STEEL 20GA. SHELLS_3″/BROWNING PATENTS” Bottom left side of each bbl are stamped with a “1” or “2”. Receiver has standard grade “1” engraving with open foliate scroll and marked on bottom “LIGHTNING/BROWNING” with a bust of John Browning below and the circle “R” trademark. Mounted with light colored streaky walnut, checkered pistol grip with long tang, Browning hard rubber buttplate, and checkered field style forend on both sets of bbls. Set 1) Bore diameter: top -.621, bottom -.621. Bore restrictions: top -.026, bottom -.012. Wall thickness: top -.045, bottom -.051. Drop at heel: 2-7/16″, drop at comb: 1-9/16″. Weight: 6lbs. 2oz. Weight: 6lbs. 1oz. LOP 14-1/16″. Gun is accompanied with Browning tan luggage case with white fleece interior. CONDITION: Extremely fine as gun appears new. Both sets of bbls retain nearly all of their factory blue with faint rub line on bottom bbl, and each with a couple minor small handling marks. Receiver retains virtually all of its fine factory blue. Stock is sound with sharp crisp dry checkering, a few minor handling marks and retains its factory finish. Forends are sound with sharp crisp dry checkering, a couple small handling marks and retains its factory finish. Mechanics are crisp, non-auto safety mechanical trigger, strong ejectors and bright shiny bores in both sets of bbls as gun shows to have had very little use. Case is in very nice condition with a few minor scuffs. Accompanying case is an order sheet dated April 25, 1974 from Ken’s Gun Clinic, Port Arthur, Texas of a detailed order for gun, a Browning letter dated April 26, 1974 acknowledging order, orig warranty paper and factory booklet. 4-39792 BDT112 (3,000-5,000)
