MARLIN MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32 RF. SN 73343. Standard grade rifle with 24″ rnd bbl, silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has nicely grained, uncheckered walnut wood with straight stock and crescent buttplate. The bolt is convertible to center fire with use of a separate firing pin. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl & magazine tube retain 95-97% strong bright orig blue. Receiver retains 75-80% bright orig blue with the balance a light patina. Sideplate retains about 20% thin blue with the balance turned patina. Wood is sound with minor nicks & dings and a 1-1/4″ scratch on the left side of the buttstock, otherwise retains most of its bright orig varnish. Good mechanics, strong bright bore with moderate pitting. 4-53832 JR68 (2,500-3,500)
