Large oil on canvas western panoramic scene shows a magnificent colorful sunset looking across a river lined with gravel banks and trees with tall mountains in distant background. A great blue heron is seen in marshy flats. Signed lower left “D M McCarthy 1982″. Also signed on reverse and dated. Housed in a gilt gesso decorated frame with linen and gilt liner having a Husberg Fine Arts Gallery label. SIZE: 24″ x 36-1/4”. PROVENANCE: Estate of Henry A.
