UNSIGNED (American mid-19th Century) PORTRAITS OF COLONEL & MRS. FREDERICK BAILEY. Identically housed in their original mahogany veneered frames. Each identically sized oil on canvases and identified on the back of each stretcher in pencil (Mrs. Lusinda Morgan Bailey and Col. Frederick Bailey). The half portraits show a middle age man wearing black coat, white shirt having nice facial features. The woman wearing a black dress with lace collar and large ruffled edge bonnet. SIZE: 28-3/4” x 25”. CONDITION: Some old spot restoration, otherwise very good. 9-90037 MD (1,500-2,500)
