*MARLIN MODEL 94 LEVER ACTION RIFLE.

*MARLIN MODEL 94 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 44-40. SN 1501. Standard grade rifle with 24″ oct bbl, full magazine, German silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight and V-notch standard rear sight. The top tang is marked “Marlin / MODEL 94” and has a 6-pointed star near the large tang screw. The bbl markings are also of the later type and the serial number appears to be in its own range of the later types with large numbers. It has nicely figured uncheckered walnut stock and forearm with straight grip and semi-crescent smooth steel buttplate. Case colored receiver and lever. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal and wood having brilliant case colors on the receiver. Lever is fading to gray on the outer edges, the stock has three or four small gouges and bruises, otherwise is fine. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. 4-54061 JR43 (1,500-2,500)
