*INTERESTING BROWNING CUSTOM SHOP B25 DIANA GRADE SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN WITH CASE. SN 325NP02841. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ bbls with Broadway vent rib, dual white sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chambers, MOD/IMP CYL choke, checkered sgl selective trigger and ejectors. Left side bbl marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q./MADE IN BELGIUM S.A.” Right side “MOD B.25 – 12 GA – 2-3/4”. Rounded frame is engraved in typical Diana pattern with pheasants on left side, ducks on right side, quail in flight on bottom, with balance of receiver and forend iron in bold foliate scroll. Long tang trigger guard is engraved with bold leafy scroll and the initials “LGL”. Mounted with nicely figured streaky walnut with checkered flat knob pistol grip, Browning black hard rubber buttplate and checkered schnable tip forend. Bore diameter: top – .724, bottom – .723. Bore restrictions: top – .018, bottom – .015. Wall thickness: top – .039, bottom – .037. Drop at heel: 2-7/16″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs. 7 oz. LOP 14-3/8″. Accompanied by Browning custom shop maroon luggage case with maroon interior. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain 98-99% orig blue with a few minor handling marks, faint rub mark from forend. First rib vent closest to muzzle has had a minor dent lifted that is barely visible. Receiver is crisp clear and bright. Stock is sound with crisp checkering, with a few minor handling marks in orig oil finish. Forend is sound with crisp checkering and a few minor handling marks in orig oil finish. Custom shop case is nice with some minor scuffing to exterior and solid clean interior. Mechanics are crisp with mechanical trigger, strong ejectors, non-automatic safety and nice shiny bores as gun has seen very little use. 4-40238 BDT16 (6,000-9,000)
