DAUM NANCY BAT VASE. Extremely fine Daum Nancy vase has a wonderful free form triangular shape with cameo bats in flight against an internally decorated mottled yellow, orange and brown background. Mottled background gives way to a grayish-purple foot with a very subtle outline of buildings at the transition edge giving the nighttime illusion of bats flying above a city. Vase is signed in cameo on the side “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 10″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-69322 (6,500-7,500)
