GEORGE OHR PUZZLE MUG. Wonderful George Ohr pottery puzzle mug features pierced sides near the top with hollow mug sidewalls. Holes at the bottom interior wall allow the liquid into the hollow sidewalls which allows the liquid to move around the pierced holes near the lip. A drinking hole at the top of the lip allows the liquid to be consumed without spilling. The handle is decorated with an incised floral design while the body of the mug is finished with a metallic gray glaze with green and tan highlights on the handle and lip. The interior is complete with the green and tan glaze. Signed on the underside with incised script signature “GE Ohr”. SIZE: 3-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Pennsylvania collection.
