16″ SCHOENHUT BOY DOLL. Unusual doll with molded and carved hair, blue intaglio eyes, open/close smiling mouth with six molded and painted teeth on an all wooden spring strung body. He has been appropriately redressed as a boy from the 1910 era with short pants and matching jacket with wide brim collar and red, white and blue ribbon bow tie. Shoes are also later black leather replacements and he has a painted tin horn in his left hand. SIZE: 16″ (41cm). CONDITION: Very good with slight peeling and touch-up on cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. 1-9226 (1,000-1,500)
