TIBETAN ROUND MOLDED COPPER COVERED SWEETMEAT BOX. 19th century. Lid with a central rondel of a fanciful lion’s head within a border set with turquoise stones alternating with Tibetan symbols. Outermost rim molded with ram’s heads, birds and beetles. Fitted to the conforming base molded with vinery alternating with “shou” characters. SIZE: 4″ h x 10″ dia. CONDITION: Very good overall with nice color and patina. 9-22161 (600-900)
