*SELDOM FOUND MANNLICHER-SCHOENAUER 1952 SUPER DELUXE BOLT ACTION RIFLE W/SCOPE. SN 11718. Cal. 30-06. 24″ rnd bbl, matted ramp w/gold bead front sight and hood, two leaf rear sight (one standing and one flip up), dated “53” on left side behind rear sight. Receiver is mounted w/vintage one-piece Leupold base and rings w/adjustments and Leupold Pioneer 4x scope, SN07065 w/fine cross hairs, super deluxe engr w/scroll on each side of scope base, flats of split rear bridge, bolt handle. Floor plate is relief engr w/a bear standing on a rock, Steyer logo, “STOGER/ARMS/CORPORATION” and bust of an antelope buck on trigger guard. Equipped w/dbl set triggers. Mounted w/select grade walnut, 90 degree ebony forend tip, checkered forend, checkered pistol grip w/ebony grip cap, left side cheek piece w/shadow line, closed loop 1″ sling swivels and black Pachmayr rifle pad. Accompanying gun is photocopy of ad in 1954 Shooter’s Bible identifying as Super Deluxe grade. CONDITION: Fine. Metal parts retain nearly all of their fine orig deluxe blue. Wood is sound w/a few minor nicks and scrapes and retains orig finish blended w/hand-worn patina. Mechanics are crisp incl set trigger and nice shiny bore.
