EARLY PAPIER MACHE NODDING FRENCH BULLDOG. Perhaps meaner than a junkyard dog, this vicious 4-legged creature will certainly bring fear to your dolls’ hearts. An earlier model with extensive facial features and glass eyes, this life-like “Fido” will growl at anybody in close proximity when his chain is pulled. A simulated growl / barking occurs as his mouth opens and he bares his teeth. Made for a number of years by different manufacturers, this example is one of the early models with well defined features including ribs, backbone and muscular hindquarters. SIZE: 21″ l.
