GEORGE OHR CANDLESTICK. Very nice George Ohr pottery candlestick has inverted saucer foot with slightly bulging stem leading to the flaring candle cup. The candle cup and top section of the stem are finished in a dark gray metallic glaze while the rest of the stick is finished with a greenish-tan glaze. The outer edge of the foot is shadowed with the metallic gray glaze. Signed on the underside with hand incised block letters “Biloxi”. SIZE: 4-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Pennsylvania collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-60279 (800-1,200)
