DOUGLAS RICKS (American, 1954-2003) SUMMER INDIAN ENCAMPMENT. Oil on masonite western scene shows two Native American figures standing beside a smoky fire, tepee and animal drying racks. They are surrounded by a field with flowers and three black birds are silhouetted against a cloudy sky. Signed lower right. Housed in a fine gilt molded wood frame with linen and gilt liner. SIZE: 18″ x 24″. PROVENANCE: Estate of Henry A. Rudkin Jr, (family of the founders of Pepperidge Farm). CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 9-98960 (1,000-2,000)
