*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE.

*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 30 WCF (30-30). SN 711187. Standard grade rifle with 26″ rnd bbl, 2/3 magazine, replacement front sight with silver bead and semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has nicely figured uncheckered walnut with straight stock and crescent buttplate. The magazine tube is 2/3 length with a flat cap. The band is properly positioned and there is no evidence that it was ever any other place. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain 95-96% strong bright orig blue. Some minor hammer marks by the front sight. Receiver retains traces of orig blue in sheltered areas with the balance a silver metal color. Wood is sound showing moderate wear on the forearm, which retains about 70% orig varnish. Buttstock has some oil staining around the receiver and top tang, otherwise retains about 85% orig varnish.
