DOUGLAS RICKS (American, 1954-2003) WINTER INDIAN ENCAMPMENT. Oil on masonite winter scene shows two Native Americans seated outside three tepees with animal skin drying racks. The backdrop is a hillside with snow squall. Signed lower left and dated “1981”. Housed in its original weathered wood carved frame with gilt and linen liner. SIZE: 18″ x 24″. PROVENANCE: Estate of Henry A. Rudkin Jr, (family of the founders of Pepperidge Farm). CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 9-98959 (1,000-2,000)
