*CASED PAIR OF BROWNING B 25’s M1 GRADE SMALL BORE OVER AND UNDER SHOTGUNS. SN 324NP02931 & 324NP02932. Cal. 28 ga. Both guns with 27-1/2″ bbls, checkered solid ribs, sgl brass sighting beads, Teague chokes, ejectors, and sgl selective trigger. Both guns are engraved on left side of rib “BROWNING S.A. MADE IN BELGIUM” and right side “MOD B25 28 GAUGE 2-3/4”. Each gun has gold 1 or 2 on rib and top lever. The side plated receivers are beautifully engraved with foliate arabesque scrolls and shaded backgrounds. The plates and receiver body are bordered with a circle dot pattern, exposed forend metal and long tang trigger guard are engraved to match. The right side of each trigger plate is signed “V. GROJEAN”. Both guns are mounted in exhibition quality walnut, with drop points, checkered rnd knob pistol grips, checkered butts, gold oval engraved “JEN”, checkered schnabel 3-piece forends with each forend latch gold #1 or 2. Set 1) Bore diameter: top -.552, bottom -.551. Bore restrictions: top -SC, bottom -SC. Wall thickness: top -N/A, bottom -N/A. Drop at heel: 1-13/16″, drop at comb: 1-7/16″. Weight: 6lbs. 5oz. Weight: 6lbs. 5oz. LOP 14-3/8″. The bottom flat of bbls are stamped “BSANY”. The pair of guns are housed in a 2 gun Motor case with canvas cover. Each gun is supplied with 5 Teague chokes, and a wrench. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Gun 1 retains 98% of its fine blue finish, with just a few minor handling marks. The polished case hardened receiver remains bright and clear with a possible few small handling marks. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks in its orig hand rubbed oil finish. There is a very shallow minor dent on right side near comb. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a couple minor handling marks and retains virtually all of its fine hand rubbed oil finish. Gun 2 extremely fine, bbl retains 98% of its fine blue with a few minor handling marks and faint rub mark on bottom bbl from forend. Polished case hardened receiver remains bright, clear with possibly a few minor handling marks. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, some minor nicks & dings and retains virtually all of its fine hand rubbed orig oil finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a couple minor handling marks and retains virtually all of its fine hand rubbed oil finish. Mechanics are crisp with non-auto safeties, strong ejectors and bright bores in both guns. Case and canvas cover are in excellent condition with some minor scuffing. 4-39538 BDT114 (25,000-35,000)
