SPRINGFIELD QUAKER TRAINING RIFLE. Composite rifle consisting of a black painted wooden bbl 34” long including the original metal breech end mounted in a 1-pc 3/4 length stock with an 1842 front band and an 1864 dated lock plate. It has a carbine style trigger guard and iron buttplate without trap. CONDITION: Retains most of its black paint on the bbl. Stock is sound with a dark patina. Good mechanics. 4-50766 JR41 (100-200)
