HARPER’S FERRY MODEL 1841 “MISSISSIPPI” RIFLE. Cal. 56. NSN. 33” rnd bbl. Marked “HARPERS / FERRY / 1851” vertically on the tail of the lockplate. Bbl date is unreadable. Proof marks on left side of bbl are very faint, but the added inspector marks ahead of these “AW / P” are clear, as are the “W.C.K” on the right side of bbl. CONDITION: Bbl has been cleaned with some light pitting and surface rust remaining. Wood has been cleaned with some gouges and scratches remaining. There are also scratches on the patchbox, trigger guard, and buttplate. Mechanically good. 4-58718 FS100 (1,250-2,250)
