16-1/2″, (42 CM), RARE SCHOENHUT “SNICKELFRITZ”. Boy with open/closed mouth, and a smiling expression showing two upper and two lower teeth, with deep carving in the hair showing curly wavy locks on top, with blue painted intaglio eyes, on a spring-jointed articulated body. He has been appropriately redressed in a 1910 style one-piece plaid suit with wide belt at the waist, and wearing newer leather shoes and sock. He is accompanied by a two piece cotton shirt and pants, probably original.
