*MANNLICHER-SCHOENAUER 1903 CARBINE. SN 25711. Cal. 6.5 x 54. 17-3/4″ bbl, matted ramp with fine bead front sight, two-leaf rear sight, and stamped “R.C. Andrews” on left side of bbl just forward of rear sight. Receiver is marked on front ring “Made in Germany / Original / Mannlicher / Schoenauer / Kal:6.5 NORM”. Fitted with single lever side mount with 2-3/4 power ZIEL-DIALYT scope number 34976. Full length stock with steel nosecap, looped sling swivel, checkered forend, checkered pistol grip with horn gripcap, straight comb, left side cheekpiece, serrated steel buttplate with trap, 4-pc steel wiping rod, closed loop sling swivel, and double set triggers. PROVENANCE: Dr. Frank Miller Estate Collection. CONDITION: Very fine. Forend cap, bbl and receiver retains most of their original blue with a slight amount of muzzle wear and a few minor handling marks. Floorplate and trigger guard have nearly all of their original blue with trigger plate being a fine case color finish. Stock is solid with good checkering and just a few minor nicks and dings and retains most of its original factory finish. There is a minor repair at toe and a minor chip at edge of cheekpiece. Mechanics are crisp, including set trigger, and a nice shiny bore. Scope appears clear with posts reticle. 4-35746 BDT133 (2,000-4,000)
