*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 25-35. SN 834602. Standard grade carbine with 20″ rnd bbl, full magazine, square base front sight, carbine ladder rear sight and a stud & ring in the left side of the receiver. It is fitted with nicely figured gumwood stock & forearm with straight grip carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl & magazine tube retain 95-96% strong bright orig blue with fine light surface spotting. Receiver retains traces of blue in sheltered areas having flaked to a light patina showing wear on the bottom edges. Wood is sound with three or four small grain checks by the buttplate and moderate nicks, dings & scratches and a couple of small gouges with the forearm retaining about 60% orig finish and the buttplate about 90%. Crisp mechanics, strong bore, frosty in the grooves. 4-54901 JR218 (1,500-2,500)
