ROTRAUT SCHROTT BLACK CHILD. There are many modern doll artists today, but few exhibit the excellence of work such as Rotraut Schrott. Of outstanding quality, this artist captures the lifelike innocence of childhood. Made of cernit and created in 2000, these dolls were only produced in very limited quantities. Most likely this doll retailed in the neighborhood of $5000+. She is in the seated position with a swivel neck. SIZE: Approx 20″ in seated position. CONDITION: A few minor scuffs to cernit on arms, damage to left thumb, though present and intact and with a slight green tinge to black coloring. 1-9320 (800-1,200)
