REMINGTON LARGE DOG’S HEAD CANE GUN. Cal. 32 RF. SN 539. Fine gutta percha covered cane gun with 28-3/4” shaft, 35” overall length with brass collar and faint markings at the joint of handle & shaft. Serial number is just above collar on dog’s head. It has a straight knurled iron tip. Mold on the dog’s head is very sharp with good features. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. There is a small crack where the handle joins the shaft and a tiny chip where sight pops up. Shaft has turned chocolate while handle has remained dark, which is common with these canes. Mechanics are fine, strong bright bore. 4-30651 JR281 (6,500-8,500)
