24″ ENGLISH POURED WAX SHOULDER HEAD DOLL. Although unmarked, she has characteristics of a Montanari. She has inset blue glass eyes, inset rooted dark human hair with head turned slightly to the left. She is on her original cloth body with narrow waist, sewn joints at the hips with poured wax lower arms and legs. Dressed in an antique long cotton baby gown, she represents a child from the 1880s. SIZE: 24″ (61cm). CONDITION: Very good with some wear to finger tips and an old repair to the right leg, primarily to region of ankle and toes. 1-9323 (600-1,000)
