INCREDIBLE FRET WORK STEAM LOCOMOTIVE AND COAL CARRIER. This Victorian fanciful depiction of an old coal powered locomotive is constructed entirely of elaborate fret work wood all careful and artistically cut with elaborate designs. The two piece train set mounted on wooden tracks is mounted in a custom oak display case. A small cardboard title plaque mounted inside the case indicates who the train was made by on April 13, 18??. SIZE: 49″ l x 10″ w x 15″ h. CONDITION: A couple of minor imperfections on the train but generally the piece has been very well preserved and in generally good condition. 1-26913 (1,000-2,000)
