OUTSTANDING CAST IRON EGYPTIAN SAFE STAND OR SLOT MACHINE STAND. This outstanding late 19th or early 20th century cast iron creation has a cross stretcher support at the top in which a small safe could be placed or a slot machine. The colorful base cast with an Egyptian revival motif consisting of sphinx heads and hoof feet are painted in black, red, gold and copper color. SIZE: Approx. 29″h, the top would hold a machine approximately 17″ x 17″. CONDITION: Paint is possibly original but can not be positive. Structurally in very good condition. 1-26844 (2,750-3,750)
