*REMINGTON MODEL 870 F PUMP SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN T463185K. Spectacular high grade 870 with 26” vent rib IMP CYL bbl and very highly figured shell grain walnut stock & forearm that have extra coverage checkering. The stock is 14” over a Remington composition buttplate. The receiver is beautifully engraved with game scene panels having six raised gold inlays of a woodcock, a pheasant and a pointer on point on the left side and a partridge, a quail and setter on the right side. The dogs are in beautifully detailed woodland scenes and all the engraving is surrounded by very fine foliate arabesque patterns with punch dot background. The matching engraving extends 3-1/4” up the bbl. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new. Appears to be unfired retaining virtually all its fine custom finish to both metal & wood with only light wear on the slide rod. Estate of John Delph. 4-51444 JR751 (1,500-2,500)
