DURAND MOORISH CRACKLE TORCHIERE. Durand torchiere has large Moorish crackle shade with red and white decoration and gold iridescence in crackle lines. Interior of the shade is finished with bright gold iridescence. Shade is supported by its original bronze floor base with eagle talon feet. Shade is unsigned. Base is marked “Artistic Brass & Bz. WKS. N.Y.C. Pat. Appld. For”. Torchiere is pictured in the book Durand: The Man & His Glass by Edward J. Meschi, pg. 107, illus. 488. SIZE: Overall 62-3/4″ t.
