GEORGE OHR CANDLESTICK. Very nice George Ohr pottery candlestick has a fluted rim around the base and is finished with an applied serpent shaped handle. The candlestick is finished with a metallic black glaze with green and yellow glaze around the ruffled edge foot as well as dripping from the top of the candlestick. The interior bottom of the candlestick is finished with the yellow and green glaze. Marked on the underside with impressed block letters “G.E. Ohr Biloxi”. SIZE: 4-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Pennsylvania collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-60282 (2,000-3,000)
