*SCARCE KRIEGHOFF NEPTUNE DRILLING. Cal. 410X410/22 Hornet. SN 84159. Modern drilling with 27” bbls, raised matted rib with thick caterpillar front sight and automatic articulated single leaf rear sight. It is fitted with factory scope bases on the rib and is fitted with quick release mounts containing a Zeiss 1.5-4.5X scope. The receiver & lockplates are coin finished with full coverage deep Germanic style foliate arabesque pattern engraving with punch dot background. It has dbl triggers with the right being set for rifle use. It also has cocked indicators and a thumb safety mounted to the left of center on top. The rifle switch is mounted on center of the top tang. The wood is extremely beautiful marble-cake honey & chocolate Circassian walnut with semi-beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with cheek piece and smooth steel buttplate with trap. The forearm and wrist are extensively checkered in about 26 lines per inch and it has a skeleton grip cap. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new. May have been fired but retains virtually all of its fine original factory finish to both metal & wood. Mechanics are crisp and the optics are sharp.
