DRESDEN PORCELAIN FIGURAL GROUP; IMPERIAL HORSE-DRAWN COACH. 20th century. This polychrome painted porcelain centerpiece depicting an imperial German coach, a royal couple within, drawn by four plumed horses, accompanied by four attendants, on a porcelain base simulating a flower-strewn field, the corners mounted with gilt imperial eagles. Marked beneath the base in blue “Germany” and crossed swords through a capital “S”. SIZE: 11″ h. x 26″ l. x 7″ w. CONDITION: Very fine overall. The original fabric bridles and harnesses now absent, as is the driver’s whip. 9-93286 (3,000-5,000)
